Peru

February 6-20th, 2026
Calvary Chapel Star is partnering with Calvary Chapel Trujillo for a two-week Missions Trip to Peru, South America.

We are starting in Moyobamba (the Jungles of Peru) and heading to the Shores of Trujillo.  We are going to be doing construction around the churches, outreach to the local villages, sharing the gospel, doing a Vacation Bible School, helping at a Valentine's Dinner for the married couples, visiting the elderly, and being the hands and feet of Jesus to the communities that we are reaching. Please keep the team in prayer for health, traveling mercies, boldness in sharing the Gospel, and that God would prepare the hearts of the people in Peru to accept Jesus.

Missions Ministry Verse

As the Missions Ministry of Calvary Chapel Star, we fully believe in Jesus' last call to action for His disciples. This call to action is known as "The Great Commission", and is located at the end of Matthew's gospel account:

And Jesus came and spoke to them saying, "All authority has been given to me in Heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to obeserve all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."

MATTHEW 28:18-20
Our final instruction from Jesus was very simply put in the word, "Go." But why would Jesus ask us to go to all nations? Why would He charge us with this great responsibility? Our Missions Ministry verse is why we believe we need to go. Paul's letter to the Romans reads:

How then shall they call on Him in Whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of Whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: "How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the Gospel of Peace, who bring glad tidings of good things!"

ROMANS 10:14-15
The time to "Go" is now! The opportunity to rise up to the calling lies before us. Together we can bring the lost to the foot of the cross.
