God Wants You to Know Him

The heavens declare the glory of God; And the firmament shows His handiwork. Day unto day utters speech, And night unto night reveals knowledge. There is no speech nor language where their voice is not heard.

PSALM 19:1-3

He is Closer Than you Know

Below is a simple explanation of how the Bible declares that we can know God. Not just know about God, but actually have a relationship with God.
"God wills that we should push on into His Presence and live our whole life there. This is to be known to us in conscious experience. It is more than a doctrine to be held; it is a life to be enjoyed every moment of every day."
A.W. TOZER

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

JOHN 3:16-17

Step 1

REALIZE THAT YOU ARE A SINNER.

You've probably heard someone say they are a good person. You may have called yourself a "good person." The problem is that our standard is not God's standard. God is the only One who can rightly declare if anyone is truly good, and scripture tells us clearly that "No one is good - not even one."

"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God..." | Romans 3:23

Step 2

RECOGNIZE THAT JESUS CHRIST DIED ON THE CROSS FOR YOU.

The Bible teaches that Jesus accomplished what we could not do for ourselves. He lived a perfect life, and gave Himself as a sacrifice for our sins, taking the penalty that we deserved.

"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." | Romans 6:23

Step 3

REPENT OF YOUR SIN AND WALK IN THE LIGHT.

"If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.
If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us."

1 John 1:6-8

Step 4

RECEIVE JESUS CHRIST AS YOUR LORD & SAVIOR.

"that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."

Romans 10:9-10

I made a decision to follow Jesus!

Hallelujah! (That's a fancy way of saying "Praise the Lord!") Heaven rejoices over you, and we would love to as well! Please let us know about your decision by clicking the button below.
I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance.
