Men's Ministry

We are committed to challenging and equipping men to become who God is calling them to be. Throughout the year we will gather together to be equipped with God’s Word, become men of prayer, develop healthy relationships amongst the congregation, and learning to courageously lead in our home, occupation, church, and community.

Join Us for Our Summer Tailgate Series

Men of Calvary, grab your Bible and a friend and drive on over for the Summer Tailgate Series. As always, this will be a prayerful, challenging, and faith-building time together. We'll be meeting at the new church property at the corner of Floating Feather and Highway 16, every Friday starting July 11th.

Men's Bible Study

Calling all men of CCS, High School age and older to gather together for our Winter Study. With a focus on prayer and fellowship we will be studying through the challenging and faith building chapter 11 of Hebrews. There is no cost, just grab your Bible and join in every Friday morning in February and March from 6:00- 7:00am at the chapel in Star.

Focused Prayer for Men

  • That the men of Calvary Chapel Star (CCS) would walk together in unity, grounded in Christ and under the loving oversight of the CCS Elders.

  • That the men of CCS would commit to praying with and for one another—seeking to become men marked by prayer, and encouraging a growing culture of corporate prayer among the men of our church.

  • That the men of CCS would experience ongoing spiritual growth: deepening in their love for God through prayer and the study of His Word; cultivating a hunger for Scripture and sound teaching; joyfully serving within the local church; and boldly sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the Treasure Valley—with the hope and prayer that God would bring about a spiritual awakening in our community.

Yearly Overview

Men's Weekly Prayer

When: Every Friday at 6am (except during Summer/Winter Men's Bible Studies).
Location: 1st & 2nd Friday every month at Ridley's - Star, ID | 3rd, 4th, & 5th Friday of every month at the southwest corner of the church property, 1700 N Worsley Ave, Star, ID. During inclement weather we will move back to Ridley's location.

Spring Conference

Calling all men to gather together in the name of Jesus for a day of prayer, repentance, and equipping.

Summer Tailgate Series 

This is our summer series where we gather early in the morning for a weekly outdoors study and fellowship. This usually runs through July and part of August. Check the events page for details.

Fall Cook-off 

Don’t miss out on our Fall BBQ. It is a lively day packed full of fun, prayer, a powerful time of worship, challenging discussions, and Biblical instruction.

One-on-One Mentorship
