30 Year Prayer Answered

We came on this trip with a prayerful mission and purpose. To seek clarity, vision, and divine appointments from God. We believe He did exactly that and answered so many prayers, not only of our hearts but also of all of you who were praying for this at home. From the moment we arrived and even days into the conference, God was separately placing people in our paths at different times. One night, we came back together as a team and started to share about who God was placing on our hearts and who we had talked to.
Wouldn’t you know the Amazing God we serve had ordained those divine appointments. Independently and scattered across the campus, it was the same few families and missionaries that each of us connected with. Total unplanned unity among the team and the connections that were being formed! Yes, out of over 400 attendees at the conference, and so many needs and incredible people, God directed each step. It was a miracle and such a blessing as we sat there seeing God answer prayers right before our eyes.
One specific prayer request that the Lord put on the hearts of Rochelle and I was to be able to meet some missionaries from Colombia at this conference. Since we were young girls, God started stirring our hearts for missions and put Colombia, the Colombian Pastors & missionaries, and the orphanages there as a place to pray for. One of the divine appointments was meeting Wilian Aperador and his precious family, who live in Sogamoso, Colombia. He is a pastor over a sweet congregation and just purchased their very first plot of land, and wouldn’t you know it. The land they just acquired is directly connected to an orphanage. What a neat thing to see the Lord work and answer prayers that are 30 years old. Getting to meet the people we never knew but passionately prayed for so long ago, and God had it all planned from the beginning. Our God is good and faithful and knows the desires of our hearts.
Join us in prayerfully seeking God’s will and if He would be leading us to come alongside the ministry of Wilian and what God is doing in Sogamoso, Colombia.
